Assassin's Creed Reveals Bizarre AoT Crossover for Thanksgiving
In a unexpected collaboration that challenges usual forecasts, the game developer has announced an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.
Strange Adventure Disclosed
According to the official announcement, "A mysterious confrontation draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where hints of forbidden ceremonies and terrifying transformations resonate through the shadows." The narrative features a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a hidden cult.
The questline concentrates on "peculiar trials and a monstrous adversary" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Familiar Locations and Metamorphoses
The teaser highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview ends with a powerful sequence showing a character, presumably the hostage, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
Special Rewards and Additional Features
Players who successfully complete the adventure will obtain an exclusive katana in addition to several artifacts concealed throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:

- Mikasa costume for Naoe

- Survey Corps mount

This release also brings the game's newest no-cost story content, titled "A Puzzlement." This playful mission teams Naoe and Yasuke as they swap characteristic abilities: Naoe introduces a dramatic version of Yasuke's war kick, while Yasuke masters subduing stealth takedowns. True to its name, "The Mystery" also includes a fresh environmental puzzle that may eventually shed light on some unresolved questions from the main storyline.
